France got home around 3am and I’m still awake in pain. I
can’t get comfortable. The shocking feelings just won’t let up.
France helped identify that the pain is coming from the hip biopsy
target site and not my spine. That’s a relief. A backrub made my back and hips
feel 100 times better and putting a pillow under my knees took the weight of my
legs off of my hips.
There is no way with the pain that I’m still in and the
little sleep I got that I can go to work. I can barely move. I need to wait
till the Dr’s office opens and ask a few questions.
Right now I gotta eat something and take my meds.
This is an ass kickin’ is what this is.
Well I talked with the Dr. and the heartburn is being caused
by some of the meds and because I stopped taking Prilosec in the hospital it
caught up with me until I started taking it again. The pain is being caused by
the effects of the Neulasta. It’s going
to recur time and time again sometimes worse than others. I just gotta hang
tough and weather the storm and take my pain meds when I need them.
This changes my expectations of the Neulasta. It is an
awesome drug that is helping me build my white blood cell count back. At the
same time it kicks the @%&^ outta you!!!
My accident site on my back (lower lumbar) from 1990 is
electrically charged with pain right now. Standing, sitting, laying, moving or
staying still all hurt. So if anyone reading this wants to remember something
about this process. You NEED these medicines, but you gotta fight your way
through the pain. It may be a day long fight, but you gotta do it! I really don’t
like taking these pain meds and I usually only take 1 before I go to bed to get me
through the night. Today I took 1 at 5pm and 1 at 10pm. I’ll just rough it
through.
